“Afterthoughts” is a collaboration between glass artist Celina Szelejewska-Pigulla and photographer and video artist Hektor Werios.
Small fused and polished glass pieces are the common theme of both artists’ interpretations. Through different media they allow the observer to experience their intricate details, interplay with light, beauty as pieces of jewelry or as elements in fine art photography.
For several years now Celina has been experimenting with combining screen-printing, painting and glass fusing. Using it as a surface for drawing, painting, photography and graphic design and experimenting with how it interacts with light is a passion of hers.
Hektor´s own works include drawings, video art and mixed media art photography in which he combines real-world photography with his digital drawings into unique, surreal imagery.
