Opening Night: Thursday 5 October, 6-9pm Then Weekdays 3-7pm, Weekends 12-7pm “Afterthoughts” is a collaboration between glass artist Celina Szelejewska-Pigulla and photographer and video artist Hektor Werios. Small fused and polished glass pieces are the common theme of both artists’ interpretations. Through different media they allow the observer to experience their intricate details, interplay with light, beauty as pieces of jewelry or as elements in fine art photography. Fara brings together four musicians at the forefront of today’s Scottish folk scene, Jennifer Austin, Kristan Harvey, Jeana Leslie and Catriona Price’s three fiddles and a piano, to produce a fiery sound rooted strongly in their upbringing among the music of Orkney.
