Part of Black History Month. An audio-visual exhibition charting the life of local resident and congregation member Pearl Charles. Opening Night: Thursday 5 October, 6-9pm Then Weekdays 3-7pm, Weekends 12-7pm “Afterthoughts” is a collaboration between glass artist Celina Szelejewska-Pigulla and photographer and video artist Hektor Werios. Small fused and polished glass pieces are the common theme of both artists’ interpretations. Through different media they allow the observer to experience their intricate details, interplay with light, beauty as pieces of jewelry or as elements in fine art photography. Opening Event: Thursday 7 September, 6-9pm Friday 8 and Friday 15 September, 2-7pm  Saturday 9 and Saturday 16 September, 12-6pm  Silently Sounding Sand is a new installation of sculptural works by Dallas Seitz that uses the history of the sand bag as a starting point to create new surrealist forms. During World War II sandbags, or soft armour as they became known, were used to protect civilian structures including churches, stained glass windows, monuments and statuary.
